I’m very Pleased to announce that I’ve been shortlisted for the Shore 104 Sounds Of Summer Songwriting Contest. Yes I have made the Top 10!!

Now comes the Fun part. I need your votes to win! The Winner will received $20,000 worth of prizes and a concert booking at the Burnaby Blues Festival August 14th. I’ll also be doing some concerts at the shore 104 street BBQ and Shorefest.. more info on the shows below.

Vancouver International Jazz Festival

WE are excited to announce that Robert Wilson and the Blackbird P.A. have been invited to play The Vancouver international Jazz festival! Voted the best festival in all of Canada for 2 years in a row. This will be a great concert!

We’ll be bringing out the big band with the big sound for a FREE show on the Main stage , Sunday July 4th at David Lam park in Yaletown.

Please come down and join us on the park for a great afternoon of music.

Short tour of the Kootneys

I just returned from a quick and impromptu tour of the B.C. Interior and the Kootneys. My pal, Coco Love Alcorn invited me out to share her shows. Good times all around, Penticton, Rossland, Nelson and New Denver!

New Live Record available now

Heck, it’s not enough to put out a big studio record for all of you. I wanted to fulfill a promise of putting together a collection of Live recordings too. I’m proud to announce it is here. Late Arrival Music Presents “A Live Record.” Featuring 10 songs, it includes some recordings with the big band as well as some of my loop pedal solo songs. It also includes my cover of the Sade song “By Your Side.”
