Howdy all,

Man, I’ve been having a crazy month. I went lake swimming today. It was so hot in the city, so me and friend booked it out of town. I’ve grown up living on the ocean and it’s nice to swim in, but nothing beats lake swimming. Summer is definetly in full swing now. I made a list of things I wanted to do this summer back in May. so far I’ve checked off some big ticket items.

I’ve gone to the water slides.

I’ve seen Al Green, the Temptations and the Four Tops in concert.

I’ve run off to the islands to chill out and write music.

and I played on the main stage at the Vancouver folk festival.

thanks to all of you who came down with the picnic dinners and hung out for the show. It was beautiful looking out on the field, and seeing all of you, with the sun setting behind the hills.

a few people have sent in some pictures from that show and we’ll have them up on the site soon.

I love that shins record too.. and coldplay are tops with me. I saw them at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver years ago.

Thanks to all who attended the release party back in June too. it was an amazing night!! the vibes were great at the show with so many old friends, fans and family in attendence. we recorded the concert and we might get a few clips of that recording up on the site soon as well. I’ll keep you posted on that. If any of you have good pictures from the show, feel free to email them to me through the website. I’d love to see them.

Thanks for sharing what music your listening to. Lately I’ve been listen to a lot of Aimee Mann. She is such a great songwriter. ” Save me, from the ranks, of the freaks, who suspect, they could never love anyone”… Man that is a killer line! it’s great to see that you’re all listening to music that you’d never hear on the radio. So new question… if you’re not hearing it on the radio.. where do you find new cool music. how do you find it? write in and let me know.
