Questions:
Where is your studio? My home studio is in Vancouver near City Hall, only a few blocks from the Broadway skytrain station. It’s easy to get here by Skytrain, bus or car. Contact me at info@robertwilsonmusic.com for directions.
Do I need to come weekly? Once a month? Lesson frequency is up to the student, depending on how much time they have to practice between lessons and other personal variables. Once a week, bi-weekly, monthly, once or twice a season; students can make their own schedule.
When do you teach? Please contact me for current teaching times at info@robertwilsonmusic.com
How long are the lessons? One hour each.
How much do lessons cost? $40 each (per hour).
Do you book lessons for two people? Generally no, but if you are a singing duo or band looking for coaching we could arrange something. Contact me at info@robertwilsonmusic.com
May I record my lesson to take home? Absolutely yes! If you have an IPhone or some other digital recording device, you are free to record the session.Students are encouraged to bring a SD card. Each lesson can be recorded on SD card, so you can practice what we did in the lesson, and strengthen your technique as quickly as you’d like.
What’s a Typical Lesson Like? Each lesson is tailored to suit your goals. A typical lesson consists of a warmup, some voice work, and some song work. Want to focus on just singing songs, or getting ready for an audition? That’s what we’ll do. It’s up to you.
